Bulletproof helmets are divided into metal, non-metal, metal and non-metal composite according to the material of helmet shell. In addition to old-style steel helmets, the main materials for making bulletproof helmets are polyethylene fiber and aramid. Polyethylene fiber helmets are more lightweight.
Bulletproof helmets mainly protect against pistol bullets and shrapnel. At present, we have developed the Enhanced Combat Helmet that can withstand M80 bullets (7.62*51mm) at a long distance. If you have needs and questions, you can contact us: info@aholdtech.com

Polyethylene (PE) and Ceramic because it provides better protection and usage. Pure polyethylene on all NIJ IIIA and lower ratings.
Yes, all plates are tested for a minimum of one round per NIJ standards. Though, it does depend on the type of round and type of armor.
They are all different. Our NIJ III bulletproof plates are less than the 6+ pound standard. A lot lighter than steel plates and lighter than kevlar.
The first time you put on a bulletproof vest you should adjust the straps exactly as you want them. Make sure the bottom of the vest is where your navel is located. That will allow you to sit down and stand up all day in comfort while still protecting your vital areas. After you have your vest adjusted, you only have to undo one of the side straps to get the vest on and off.
We choose a NIJ Level IIIA (3A) bulletproof vest. This is the highest level you will find in soft armor. Our level IIIA (3A) bulletproof vest will protect you from almost all handgun rounds. It is tested for rounds up to a .44 Magnum.
The generally accepted length of service is 5 years.
Our ballistic panels are made from Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene (UHMWPE or High Strength Polyethylene). Most bulletproof vest manufacturers have moved beyond into stronger materials and so have we.
